Our client is an established independent optician based in North West London and is looking to welcome an enthusiastic, patient-focused Trainee Dispensing Optician who is due to qualify.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive independent practice where you can put your knowledge and experience into practice, continue developing your professional skills and build your career as a qualified Dispensing Optician.
The practice runs two clinics daily and offers a varied working environment where you will work closely alongside the optometrist and wider team. You will be dispensing a range of quality and designer frames, providing professional advice and helping patients find the right eyewear to suit their individual needs, lifestyle and budget.
The practice places great importance on delivering excellent customer service, providing quality eyewear and building lasting relationships with its patients.

The Role – Key Responsibilities

Assisting patients with selecting suitable frames, including a range of designer eyewear.

Advising on lens options, coatings, enhancements and specialist lenses.

Providing professional advice and excellent levels of patient care.

Supporting patients throughout their eyewear journey.

Working closely with the optometrist and wider practice team.

Carrying out frame adjustments and repairs where required.

Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

Maintaining high standards of customer service and presentation.
The Ideal Candidate

A Trainee Dispensing Optician who is approaching qualification.

Working towards completion of their Dispensing Optician qualification.

Confident in their dispensing knowledge and practical skills.

Good understanding of frames, lenses and optical products.

Passionate about providing excellent customer service and patient care.

Friendly, approachable and confident communicating with patients.
