Our clients are a small group of well-established independent optical practices serving their local communities. Each practice has built a reputation for providing excellent eye care and personalised customer service, with a friendly and welcoming approach to patient care.
They are looking for a passionate and patient-focused Mobile Dispensing Optician to work across all practices in the area. This is a varied opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting new people, working in different practice environments and being part of friendly, supportive independent teams.
As a Mobile Dispensing Optician, you'll play an important role in providing professional dispensing advice and ensuring patients receive an excellent experience, wherever they visit.
Key Responsibilities

Providing professional dispensing advice and guidance to patients.

Helping patients select frames and lenses to suit their prescription, lifestyle and budget.

Taking accurate measurements and ensuring spectacles are correctly fitted.

Advising on lens options, coatings and specialist products where appropriate.

Carrying out frame adjustments, repairs and aftercare.

Supporting the wider practice team and working closely with optometrists and Optical Assistants.

Building strong relationships with patients and delivering excellent customer service.

Providing flexible support across the independent practices as required.
About You

GOC-registered Dispensing Optician.

Previous experience in a dispensing role.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A friendly, approachable and professional manner.

Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.

Confident providing professional dispensing advice and recommendations.

Comfortable adapting to different practice environments and working with different teams.
-
A flexible and reliable approach to work.

A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport would be advantageous.
