Optical Assistant North West London

We are an independent opticians in North West London looking for a full-time Optical Assistant to join our friendly and highly professional team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an independent practice environment, where clinical excellence and exceptional customer service are at the heart of everything we do.

Our practice is based in a vibrant and well-connected area of North West London. Excellent Underground and Overground transport links

  • Monday to Saturday: 9:15 am – 6:00 pm

  • Saturday required (minimum)

  • One weekday off during the week

You will be working alongside experienced optometrists and a supportive team in a practice with on-site glazing facilities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting patients in choosing high-quality frames and lenses

  • Supporting the dispensing process

  • Pre-screening and clinical support for optometrists

  • Contact lens ordering and patient guidance

  • Administrative duties and diary management

  • Delivering exceptional customer service

  • Helping with the general day-to-day running of the practice

  • Previous optical experience essential.

  • Friendly, professional and confident communicator

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Well-presented and customer-focused

  • Proactive team player

  • Enthusiastic and willing to learn
