Our clients are a small group of well-established independent optical practices serving their local communities. Each practice has built a reputation for providing excellent eye care and personalised customer service, with a friendly and welcoming approach to patient care.
They are looking for a passionate and customer-focused Mobile Optical Assistant to work across all practices in the area. This is a varied opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting new people, working in different practice environments and being part of friendly, supportive independent teams.
As a Mobile Optical Assistant, you'll play an important role in ensuring patients receive an excellent experience, wherever they visit. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities

Welcoming patients and delivering excellent customer service.

Assisting customers in choosing frames and lenses to suit their lifestyle and budget.

Carrying out pre-screening tests and supporting the optometrist.

Adjusting, fitting and repairing spectacles.

Managing appointments and handling patient enquiries.

Maintaining a clean, organised and professional practice environment.

Providing flexible support across the independent practices as required.
About You

Previous experience as an Optical Assistant.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A friendly, positive and professional attitude.

Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.

Comfortable adapting to different practice environments and working with different teams.

A flexible and reliable approach to work.
-
A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport would be advantageous.
