Dispensing Optician - Petersfield - Monday to Friday practice based

We are seeking a qualified and GOC-registered Dispensing Optician to join our client's friendly team at a thriving independent optical practice in Petersfield.

This is an exciting opportunity for a patient-focused Dispensing Optician who wants to develop their career in a practice that values professional expertise, exceptional patient care and a supportive team culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dispense and fit spectacles in accordance with patients' prescriptions and individual requirements.

  • Provide expert advice on frames and lenses to suit patients' needs, lifestyles and budgets.

  • Offer professional guidance on eye care and optical products, helping patients make informed choices.

  • Carry out pre-screening services as required.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.

  • Work closely with the team to provide a welcoming, patient-focused environment.

  • Help maintain optical equipment and uphold high standards of patient care.

  • Keep up to date with developments in optical technology, products and dispensing techniques.

  • Take ownership of your role and contribute positively to the continued success of the practice.

  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

About You

To be considered for this position, you will need:

  • To be a qualified, GOC-registered Dispensing Optician.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
