Contact Lens Optician - Kent Coast - Part time

Are you a Contact Lens Optician looking for a part time role where your clinical expertise is genuinely valued?

Our client is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a passionate and patient-focused Contact Lens Optician to join their established, close-knit practice on the Kent Coast.

You will be part of a highly skilled optical team in a modern, professional, and relaxed environment where clinical excellence, patient care, and professional development are important.

The practice is equipped with high-tech optical and diagnostic equipment, allowing you to provide a high standard of care while having the time and support to focus on your patients.

A Role Built Around Clinical Excellence

Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, you will have the opportunity to understand each patient's individual needs and use your clinical expertise to provide the most appropriate solution.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Conduct comprehensive Contact Lens consultations.
  • Work with a varied Contact Lens patient base and develop your specialist clinical experience.
  • Provide personalised Contact Lens solutions based on individual patient requirements.
  • Take the time needed to achieve excellent clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with patients.
  • Provide expert advice and education throughout the patient's Contact Lens journey.
  • Work with modern, high-tech optical and diagnostic equipment.
  • Work closely with experienced Optometrists, Dispensing Opticians and the wider optical team.
  • Develop your clinical skills and knowledge within a supportive professional environment.
  • Become involved in Dry Eye and enhanced clinical services.
  • Contribute your own ideas and experience to the continued development of the Contact Lens service.

Clinical Autonomy & Professional Development

You will be encouraged to use your expertise, develop your interests and continue expanding your clinical knowledge.

You will be joining a team that values communication, collaboration and high clinical standards, while maintaining a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere.

The Team

You will become part of a skilled, approachable and dedicated optical team who share a genuine passion for patient care.

The practice places strong emphasis on teamwork and creating a positive working environment where experienced professionals are trusted and valued.

You will have the opportunity to work alongside colleagues who are equally committed to delivering an outstanding patient experience and maintaining excellent clinical standards.

About the Kent Coast

The area is ideal for those who enjoy beautiful beaches, coastal walks, outdoor activities, independent cafés and local restaurants, while the wider county of Kent provides excellent connections across the South East.

For those considering relocation, this is an opportunity to enjoy a genuine work-life balance, with the chance to develop your career while living close to the coast.

Relocation & Sponsorship

Our client understands that relocating for the right career opportunity is a significant decision and is happy to provide support towards relocation for suitable candidates.

Sponsorship may also be available for eligible candidates.

This makes the opportunity particularly attractive to Contact Lens Opticians currently working in the UK who are looking for a new challenge, as well as eligible overseas-qualified candidates considering their next career move.
