Contact Lens Optician - Berkhamsted

We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Contact Lens Optician (CLO) to join our friendly and professional team in the Berkhamsted area. The successful candidate will be a strong team player, delivering outstanding clinical care, with a keen interest in dry eye management and advanced contact lens services.

Berkhamsted is a beautiful and historic market town in Hertfordshire, offering an excellent quality of life. Surrounded by the Chiltern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it provides fantastic opportunities for outdoor activities, walking, and cycling. The town boasts a vibrant high street with independent shops, cafés, and restaurants, along with excellent transport links to London (just 30 minutes by train), making it ideal for both commuters and those seeking a balanced lifestyle.

  • Carry out comprehensive contact lens assessments, fittings, and aftercare

  • Provide expert advice on lens types, solutions, and eye health

  • Manage and support patients with dry eye conditions, including assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing care ( training will be provided)

  • Work closely with optometrists, dispensing opticians, and support staff to deliver excellent patient outcomes

  • Maintain accurate patient records in line with GOC and practice standards

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong patient relationships

  • GOC registered Contact Lens Optician

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Passion for delivering high-quality patient care

  • Interest or experience in dry eye clinics and treatments
