We have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and talented Domiciliary Optometrist to join our client’s patient-focused team. This role is ideal for someone who excels at understanding patient needs and providing outstanding care to individuals in their own homes, care homes, and community settings.

  • Deliver exceptional domiciliary eye care with compassion and professionalism.

  • Conduct thorough eye examinations using portable, state-of-the-art equipment.

  • Provide accurate prescriptions and tailored solutions to meet individual patient needs.

  • Build lasting relationships with patients, carers, and healthcare professionals.

  • Work collaboratively with a supportive team to maintain a high standard of care and patient experience.

  • Keep up to date with the latest clinical practices and guidelines.

  • Participate in Continuous Education and Training (CET) opportunities.

  • Contribute to the smooth operation and trusted reputation of our domiciliary service.

  • You’ll need to be a Qualified and GOC-registered Optometrist.

  • Strong clinical and communication skills, with a patient-centred approach.

  • Empathy and sensitivity when working with elderly and vulnerable patients.

  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive team culture.

  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between appointments.

  • Commitment to self-development and continuous learning.
