We are seeking a dedicated Optical Trainer to join our client’s expanding team in Tyne and Wear. You will be responsible for delivering training and development programmes across the store in the North East. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring staff are equipped with the latest industry knowledge and skills, fostering excellent customer service standards and supporting the growth of the business.

  • Design and deliver training programmes for optical staff at regional and store levels

  • Assess training needs and implement tailored development strategies

  • Support store managers and team members in achieving sales and customer service targets

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of optical products, industry regulations, and best practices

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions and programme progress

  • Assist in onboarding new team members, ensuring a seamless integration into the company culture

  • Have you experience as a supervisor, assistant or practice manager, trainer
