This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established optical practice as an Optical Assistant in Tynemouth. You will be the first point of contact for patients, supporting the dispensing team and ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. Your expertise in optical sales and customer service will help deliver tailored solutions and a memorable experience for every patient. 

  • Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner  

  • Support the dispensing team with frame selection and lens options

  • Ensure accurate measurements and recordings for spectacles and contact lenses

  • Maintain the presentation and cleanliness of the practice

  • Manage appointments and patient records efficiently

  • Provide excellent customer service, answering queries and offering advice 

  • Assist with stock management and merchandising

  • Uphold clinical and confidentiality standards in line with company policies

  • Must have optical experience
