We are seeking an experienced Optical Assistant to join a practice in Newcastle Upon Tyne. In this position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional optical and dispensing support to patients, assisting with frame selection, lens consultations, and delivering outstanding customer service. Your expertise will help ensure patients receive personalised advice and a positive experience during each visit.

  • Welcoming and assisting patients with their optical needs in a friendly and professional manner

  • Providing expert advice on frame selection and lens options

  • Supporting the optical team with patient consultations and measurements

  • Maintaining excellent patient records and ensuring compliance with relevant standards

  • Managing stock levels, including optical accessories and frames

  • Upholding high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the practice

  • Must have optical experience
