Are you an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual with experience in the optical sector? We’re currently recruiting for Optical Assistants to join a friendly and supportive team at our established Optical & Hearing practice in Swanley.

🌟 About the Role:

As an Optical Assistant, you’ll play a key role in delivering outstanding service to patients. From assisting with frame selection to supporting the clinical team, your day-to-day will be varied, rewarding, and people-focused.

💬 Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to all patients

  • Assist with frame styling and lens selection

  • Carry out pre-screening tests and support the optometrist

  • Manage patient appointments and administrative tasks

  • Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming practice environment

  • Work collaboratively with the team to deliver high-quality care

✅ What Our Client is Looking For:

  • Some previous experience working in an optical environment (e.g. high street opticians or independent practice)

  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner

  • Ability to work effectively within a team

  • A proactive, can-do attitude and strong attention to detail

  • Willingness to learn and grow within the role
