Optical Assistant - Solihull

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service? Join our client team in Solihull as an Optical Assistant and help people see the world more clearly.

In this role, you’ll greet customers warmly, advise them on the right frames and lenses, adjust and fit glasses, and support the dispensing process after eye tests. You’ll also assist the opticians and help ensure the store runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with optical experience.

We’re seeking friendly, reliable team players with excellent communication skills who are ready to deliver a first-class customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming and assisting customers with their eyewear needs

  • Advising on frame styles and lens options

  • Carrying out fittings and adjustments

  • Supporting optometrists during clinics

  • Handling payments and maintaining store presentation
