We are seeking a qualified and GOC-registered Dispensing Optician Supervisor to join our client’s friendly, supportive team.

As a Dispensing Optician Supervisor, you will play an integral role in ensuring all patients receive the highest standard of care and experience, while also supporting the day-to-day leadership and smooth running of the practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense and fit spectacles according to patient prescriptions

  • Provide expert advice on frame and lens options to suit individual needs, lifestyle, and budget

  • Deliver pre-screening services to patients

  • Offer professional guidance on eye care and related products

  • Ensure all patient records are maintained accurately and confidentially

  • Support the management and maintenance of optical equipment, ensuring high clinical standards

  • Supervise and support team members, promoting a positive and customer-focused environment

  • Assist in overseeing daily operations to ensure efficient workflow

  • Stay up to date with the latest optical technologies and innovations

  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities

Requirements:

  • Qualified and GOC-registered Dispensing Optician

  • Previous supervisory experience (or readiness to step into a supervisory role)

  • Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

  • Excellent attention to detail and passion for exceptional patient care

  • Proactive attitude and willingness to embrace new learning opportunities
