We are seeking a qualified and GOC-registered Dispensing Optician to join our client’s friendly and supportive team. As a Dispensing Optician, you will play an integral role in ensuring all patients receive the best possible care and experience.

  • Dispense and fit spectacles to patients according to their prescriptions

  • Provide expert advice to patients on frame and lens options to suit their needs, lifestyle, and budget

  • Assist in managing and maintaining the optical equipment and ensuring the highest levels of clinical care

  • Ensure that all patient information and records are maintained accurately and confidentially

  • Collaborate with a close-knit team to create an excellent customer-focused environment

  • Provide pre-screening services to patients

  • Offer professional guidance on eye care and products, ensuring patients understand their choices

  • Stay up to date with the latest optical technologies and innovations

  • Participate in professional development opportunities to expand your skills and knowledge

  • You’ll need to be a qualified and GOC registered Dispensing Optician

  • Strong communication skills with a customer-focused attitude

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

  • Excellent attention to detail and a passion for providing exceptional patient care

  • A proactive attitude and willingness to embrace new learning opportunities
