Optometrist/Optician (practice based) mobile - Cirencester

Our client is looking to recruit an experienced GOC-registered Optometrist or Optician for an exciting opportunity where you will offer support to several practices in the region as well as contribute to the development of the teams within those practices.

If you enjoy driving but also want to be part of a team, this could be the position for you!

  • Excellent salary and benefits package

  • Practice-based mobile position

  • You will provide clinical cover for the practices in your region

  • Ensure that clinical standards are maintained across the practices

  • You will assist with the induction of new starters to the company

  • Be part of the interview process for new staff members

  • Provide ongoing training and support to professional members of the staff

  • The practices all have a Dispensing Optician to carry out dispenses and a team of assistants to complete pre-screening tests

  • You'll need to be a fully qualified Optometrist registered with the GOC

  • You will need a full UK driving licence and be happy to work between practices in the region

  • The ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike

  • Excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a team 

  • Eligibility to work in the UK

I’m not GOC  registered yet, can I apply?

Yes, you can.

You will need to be GOC registered to work for our client as an Optometrist/Optician. Still, we can start the recruitment process ahead of the registration coming through, and offers can be made upon receipt of your GOC number.

 I'm looking to relocate, can you help with this?

Yes, we can.

We can discuss this with our client when we are submitting your application, and we will do our best to support you.

I require a visa, can you help with this? 

Yes, we can.
