Optometrist - Rayleigh

We’re looking for a qualified Optometrist to join our client’s lovely practice, where you’ll be part of a friendly and professional team committed to providing excellent patient care.

The practice is equipped with Optomap and OCT technology, allowing you to make use of modern diagnostic equipment as part of your clinical work.

This is a great opportunity for an Optometrist who enjoys delivering high standards of patient care and working as part of a welcoming, supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision testing.

  • Detect, assess and manage eye conditions, referring patients when necessary.

  • Use Optomap and OCT technology to support clinical assessments and patient care.

  • Provide advice on lenses, frames and general eye health.

  • Work closely with the dispensing team to ensure a positive patient experience and smooth day-to-day practice operations.

  • Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to GOC standards and professional guidelines.

About You

  • GOC-registered Optometrist.

  • Strong clinical knowledge and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.

  • Confident communicator with a friendly and professional approach.

  • Reliable, approachable and happy working as part of a close-knit team.

  • Available to work five days per week, including Saturdays.
