We are delighted to be supporting a small, well-established chain of independent practices in the Colchester area who are looking to recruit a Mobile Optometrist to join their friendly and supportive team.
This is a mobile position covering Colchester and surrounding locations, offering variety and the opportunity to work across multiple well-equipped practices within the group.
Key responsibilities include:

Conducting comprehensive eye examinations and refractions

Delivering high standards of patient-centred care

Managing and monitoring eye health conditions

Referring patients appropriately where necessary

Maintaining accurate and compliant clinical records

Working collaboratively with experienced support staff

Colchester is well connected via Greater Anglia rail services, with direct trains to London Liverpool Street in approximately 50 minutes, as well as links to Ipswich, Norwich and surrounding towns.
By Road:
The town is easily accessible via the A12, providing convenient road links to Chelmsford, Ipswich, and the wider Essex area. The A120 also connects Colchester to Stansted Airport and the surrounding regions.
By Air:
London Stansted Airport is approximately 45–60 minutes by car, offering both domestic and international travel options.
