Optical Assistant Part time - Cambridge

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Optical Assistant to join our client’s friendly and professional practice in Cambridge.  Key Responsibilities

  • Greet clients warmly in person or over the phone, ensuring they feel welcome and valued.

  • Collaborate with the team to identify the best optical solutions tailored to each client’s needs.

  • Deliver outstanding service throughout the client journey—from consultation to aftercare.

  • Manage appointments, maintain accurate patient records, and help with daily operations.

  • Assist clients in selecting eyewear, offering expert advice on frames, lenses, and contact lenses.

  • Foster strong relationships with team members, peers, and clients in a supportive, cooperative work environment.

  • Help manage stock levels, ensuring the right products are available and well-presented.

  • Previous optical experience required.
