As a Part-Time Optical Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting customers and ensuring they receive the best possible experience. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Helping customers choose the right frames and lenses to suit their style and prescription needs

  • Performing frame adjustments, fittings, and minor repairs to ensure comfort and vision accuracy

  • Conducting pre-screening tests before customers see the optometrist

  • Managing appointments, handling phone queries, and processing payments

  • Providing expert advice on optical products and services

  • Ensuring the store is always welcoming, clean, and well-organized

  • Must have previous optical experience 

  • A friendly and approachable personality with excellent communication skills

  • Someone who thrives in a team-oriented environment and enjoys helping people

  • Attention to detail and a passion for delivering great service
