Herne Bay is a charming seaside town on the north coast of Kent, known for its traditional seafront, Victorian architecture, and welcoming community. With its historic pier, colourful beach huts, and scenic promenade, Herne Bay offers a classic British coastal experience alongside modern amenities. The town’s maritime heritage, attractive coastal walks, and nearby nature reserves make it a favourite destination for both residents and visitors alike.
Herne Bay is well-connected, making travel convenient and efficient. The town’s railway station provides regular services to London Victoria and St Pancras International, typically in under 90 minutes, as well as to Canterbury and other parts of Kent. It also has excellent road links via the A299, connecting to the M2 and the broader motorway network. Local bus services operate throughout the town and nearby areas, while Gatwick and London City airports are within reach for both domestic and international travel.
