We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced Locum Dispensing Optician to join our team on a regular Saturday basis. This is a great opportunity to work in a friendly and modern practice, providing excellent patient care in a supportive environment.

You’ll be responsible for dispensing a wide range of lenses and frames, advising patients on lens choices and visual solutions, and ensuring a seamless handover from the clinical to the retail experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription eyewear accurately and professionally

• Offer tailored advice on lens types, coatings, and frames

• Ensure patients receive outstanding customer care

• Handle adjustments, fittings, and minor repairs

• Support the team in achieving smooth daily operations

• Maintain professional standards and GOC compliance

About You

• GOC-registered Dispensing Optician

• Confident, personable, and patient-focused

• Able to work independently on Saturdays

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Reliable and punctual, with a team-oriented mindset

• Experience in both clinical and fashion aspects of dispensing preferred
