Part-time Dispensing Optician - Kensington

Are you a skilled Dispensing Optician seeking a part-time role? Look no further! We are currently recruiting for our client, who is looking for a Dispensing Optician to join our client's company. You will provide excellent customer care and expert advice to make a real difference to our customers and keep them returning to the practice.

Kensington is a vibrant and affluent district located in West London, known for its blend of cultural attractions, historical significance, and residential charm. It is part of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and offers a unique mix of urban life and green spaces.

Kensington (Olympia): Serves the District Line and London Overground

High Street Kensington: Also on the District Line, providing easy access to central London.

Notting Hill Gate: Close which offers access to the Central and District Lines.

Kensington is served by numerous bus routes that connect it to other parts of London. Buses are a convenient option for shorter journeys and for reaching nearby areas

Kensington (Olympia) also provides train services to destinations outside London, including connections to West London and other regions.

Paddington Station is nearby, offering mainline services to Wales, Bristol, and the West Country, 

  • Providing clinical support in-store for regulated dispensing

  • Inspiring the optical team by sharing your knowledge to offer the best service.

  • Listening, to the needs of customers and offering expertise and advice. 

  • Helping our customers choose the correct eyewear

  • Providing expert knowledge for patients with more specialist requirements. 

  • Registered with the General Optical Council (GOC)

  • Accurate measurement and fitting of lenses and frames

  • Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism  

  • Great communication and rapport-building 

  • Attention to detail in maintaining accurate customer records, prescriptions

  • The ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations 

  • Confidence, passion, drive and enthusiasm

  • Stay informed about the latest products, trends
