The practice combines expert dispensing with the latest optical technology, including advanced digital measuring technology and a luxury portfolio of Hoya Vision lenses. Every pair of spectacles, sunglasses, and contact lenses is carefully selected and fitted by a qualified optician, ensuring clients receive a truly bespoke service.

The Role

As a Dispensing Optician, you will provide a highly personalised dispensing service to a discerning clientele, combining your technical expertise with excellent product knowledge and a strong understanding of fashion, style, and individual client needs.

You will have the opportunity to work with premium eyewear collections and high-quality lenses while using the latest technology to deliver exceptional visual solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver an exceptional, personalised dispensing experience to every client

  • Take clients through the dispensing process from initial consultation through to collection

  • Provide expert advice on frames, lenses, sunglasses, and contact lenses

  • Recommend suitable optical solutions based on prescription, lifestyle, visual requirements, and personal style

  • Work with premium and exclusive eyewear collections from leading international designers

  • Take accurate dispensing measurements 

  • Dispense and advise on high-quality lenses 

  • Carry out accurate frame and lens measurements to ensure optimum visual performance and comfort

  • Complete spectacle fittings, adjustments, and minor repairs

  • Maintain accurate client records and complete relevant administrative duties

  • Build strong, long-term relationships with clients through excellent service and product knowledge

  • Maintain a high level of knowledge across the latest frame, lens, and optical technology

  • Contribute to the presentation and high standards of the practice

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a seamless client journey

  • Maintain professional standards in line with relevant regulatory requirements and Continuing Professional Development

About You

  • Qualified Dispensing Optician

  • Registered with the General Optical Council (GOC)

  • Passionate about luxury eyewear, fashion, design, and optical technology

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Naturally customer-focused with a genuine passion for building client relationships

  • Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy

  • Enthusiastic, adaptable, and keen to continue developing professionally

  • A positive and collaborative team player
